Hotel Information

The Parkwood Inn will serve as official hotel for the 2001 Fast Electric Nationals. We have negotiated a room rate of $97.00 per night plus 8 % bed tax. This is a double occupancy rate. With each room you will have a choice of either one queen size bed or 2 double beds. Also each room comes with a complete kitchen, stove, refrigerator, microwave and full cooking utensils and dishes for 4 people. This is an excellent rate for Alaska the average room goes for between $140.00 to $180.00 per night in the summer. Each room can be held with a credit card and reservations should be made prior to January 2001 if you want to be assured of getting a room at these prices. Reservations can be canceled with a 7 prior notice at no cost to you so reserve your room early. When making reservations be sure to tell the agent that this is for the NAMBA Fast Electric Boat race and confirm that you are being given the special rates. If anyone has any problems when making reservations or getting these special rates please contact us immediately so we can remedy the situation. Directions from the airport:

Leaving the airport you will be on International Airport Road follow this approximately 3.7 miles to the Old Seward Highway. Turn left on the Old Seward Highway and follow it 5/10’s of a mile to the first stop light which is Tudor Road. Turn right on Tudor Road follow it 2/10’s of a mile on your right will be the entrance to the Parkwood Inn.
