2001 NAMBA Fast Electric National Championships

"The Midnight Sun Nationals"

  1. Entry and payment deadlines are June 15, 2001. All entries and payments must be in our possession by this date. Entries and payments received after June 15, 2001 but before June 21, 2001 will incur a $30.00 late fee. No entries will be accepted after the June 21, 2001 deadline. We will not accept any entries received after this date, NO EXCEPTIONS. Payments made after the June 21th deadline will incur an additional $20.00 late fee on top of the $30.00 late fee for the June 15th deadline. Hopefully everyone understands that we want these entries and payments before the deadlines that is why there are such high late fees involved. I’m sorry but I hope everyone understands that these deadlines are necessary in order to have our preparations complete by the start date of the event.

  2. There will be a mandatory registration held on Thursday June 28th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. All racers must register at this time. You will be given your heat sheets at this time. Also at this time you will be required to enter the team event and/or the high points event if you so desire. There will be no entries for these events after this day. All of this is an attempt to have all the paper work in order and not delay the start of racing on the first day of the event.

  3. Team event will consist of a 4-man team where each man will choose one class each. The total points of the 4 combined classes for these men will be totaled and the team with the highest accumulated points will be awarded the Team Trophy. An individual may only represent one team, no one can be on more than one team.

  4. High Points Award will be given to the individual with the highest accumulated point total for 6 classes. The individual prior to the start of racing must choose these 6 classes. Offshore classes are not a legal entry for high points award because there are no points awarded in theses classes only lap count.
