We have negotiated a special rental rate for minivans with Affordable New Car Rentals. These are new Chrysler minivans. The rates for these vans are $80.96 per day. I know this seems high and it is by comparison to other parts of the country. But in fact these are very good rates for these vehicles in Alaska. A standard rate in Alaska for the same vehicle at other agencies such as Budget is $125.00 per day. Again these reservations need to be made before January 2001 to be assured of these rates and a vehicle is available. Affordable New Car is located off site of the airport so when making reservations it is suggested that you ask about their shuttle service and where you make connections to it once reaching the airport.
